》》Applicants should prepare documentary proofs as follows.
A. Vehicle owner's proofs of identification:
(A) Registration for individuals: original ID Cards, household certificates, or alien residence certificates.
(B) Registration for organizations, schools and institutions: official certificates of the organizations, schools or institutions, and a standard number distributed by the finance and tax competent authority should be submitted.
(C) Registration for companies and businesses: the company or commercial registration documents and photocopies of business registration certificate, along with a standard number distributed by the finance and tax competent authority, should be submitted.
(D)Registration for professional practice: a photocopy of ID card of the person in charge of professional practice, and documentary proofs of business, or a certificate from the association the person belongs to, as well as a notification with a standard number should be submitted.
B. Original copy of vehicle registration.
C. Motor insurance certificate (the period of valid insurance must be over 30 days).
D. One copy of “Changes in the Registration for Automobile (Motorcycle)” (Download the form).
E. If a vehicle owner entrusts an agent with application, the agent's original D Card needs to be shown.
A. For an expired vehicle registration, a vehicle registration fee of NT$ 150 should be paid. Fuel fees to be collected every two years are also collected.

51 - 125 C .C. NT$ 900
126 – 250 C .C. NT$ 1,200
251 – 500 C .C. NT$ 1,800
501 – 600 C .C. NT$ 2,400

B. Those who have not paid unconcluded fines for disobeying traffic regulations, regulations governing environmental protection, or Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance Act, or accumulated debts for vehicle license tax and fuel fee should pay off the debts first.
C. Those whose vehicle was stolen and then found need to arrange for an inspection of the vehicle at highways supervision authorities. If passing the inspection, they can apply for change.
D. In the case of correspondence, please enclose required documentary proofs and a self-addressed stamped envelope (affix stamps of NT$ 25, and write down the addressee's name, telephone number and full address) and send it to the Second Section of the Headquarters or Southern Branch Office [Address: No. 71, Deming Road, Nanzih District, Kaohsiung City (the Second Section of the Headquarters); No. 22, Ankang Road, Linya District, Kaohsiung City (Southern Branch Office)].
E. Pay to: “Department of Motor Vehicle, Kaohsiung City ”.
F. Remittance account no.: “4193350 -6” (a remittance commission fee needs to be paid by a person who proceeds with remittance.).
