》》Headquarters: a written test and a driving test for private small vehicles can be held as soon as an applicant arrives.

●Notes:

(1) Service is available Monday through Friday, except Government Agencies Holidays.

(2) You must prepare the required documents

(A) Original copies of R.O.C. ID card or military ID card or Alien Residence Certificate (A.R.C) (with validity of over one year)

(B) Motorcycle Driver’s License Registration Form (i.e. Physical Examination Form, must be filled by any Public Hospital)

(C) 3 identical 1-inch photos (2 for physical examination; 1 for driver’s license), black and white or color, front view of clear face without hat, and taken within the past six months. (No photomontage is allowed.)

(D) Fee 

a. For applying Light Motorcycle Driver’s License testNT$125.

b. For applying Heavy Motorcycle Driver’s License testNT$250.(including Written Test and Driving Test)

c. Only for applying Driving TestNT$125.

d. Re-test for failing to pass the test within 1 yearNT$125.

e. For getting Driver’s LicenseNT$200.

(E) For those who already have Car Driver’s License or Light Motorcycle Driver’s License want to apply for Heavy Motorcycle Driver’s License Test, only Driving Test is needed, no Written Test is needed.The above License you already got will be required. When you receive the Heavy Motorcycle Driver’s License, please return and cancel the Light Motorcycle Driver’s License you already got.

(3)        Do not apply for the Driver’s License Test, if you are

(A) Under 18 years old.

(B) Have failed the test, and the date of the test is less than 7 days from now

(C) Failed Physical Examination.

(D) Already got a Light or Heavy Motorcycle Driver’s License (including the suspended one), or the Motorcycle Driver’s License has been invalidated or cancelled and the punishment date is not due.

(E) Driver’s License has been invalidated perpetually.

(4)       Before getting the Driver’s License, you should pay all fine for traffic violation cases.

(5)    For those who applying Heavy Motorcycle Driver’s License Test, if you passed Written Test but failed the Driving Test, you can choose to get a Light Motorcycle Driver’s License. If you do not get it right on that day, another payment will be needed.

 

(6) There is no place conducting business for large-sized heavy-duty motorcycle driving license tests in Kaohsiung City . So an applicant needs to contact the following places if desiring to take such a test.
